Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel is proud to announce its special event in celebration of World Environment Day on 5th of June 2024, focusing on herbal plantation. This international day, recognized as the biggest event for environmental awareness, marked by engaging guests in sustainable practices and promoting the growth of beneficial plants.
The plantation event held in the left wing of the hotel’s garden area, starting at 10:00 AM, where guests gathered as participants. The activity aims to encourage environmental stewardship among guests by involving them in the planting of herb plants. The activity underscores the importance of sustainable practices and the role of plants in enhancing our environment.
The program highlights include briefing the guests by the garden team on proper planting techniques, giving instructions, and providing assistance. Various herb plants will be provided, and the holes have been prepared. All necessary safety measures will be in place, including hand sanitizers and gloves. Educational materials about each herb and its benefits will be available to enrich the guest experience.
