VISA FREE SHORT VISIT FOR TOURIST

In conjunction with the Presidential Decision No. 103/2003, signed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on 17th December 2003 regarding the new visa policy, from the 1st February 2004, the following visa policy is applied:

VISA FREE SHORT VISIT FOR TOURIST

The following 9 (nine) countries and 2 (two) territory do not require a visa to enter Indonesia for a tourist visit of up to 30 (thirty) days :
  • Brunei Darussalam
  • Chile
  • Hong Kong SAR
  • Macao SAR
  • Malaysia
  • Morocco
  • Peru
  • Philippine
  • Singapore
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam
Overstay visitors incur to pay a penalty of US$ 20,- per day (for under 60 days stay) whilst over 60 days stay will be a 5 (five) year prison sentence or a fine of IDR 25.000.000,- (local currency).

Entry Requirements for Visa Free Short Visit:
  1. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months as from the date of entry into Indonesia.
  2. Onward or return tickets are compulsory
  3. No compulsory vaccinations

 

SHORT VISIT VISA TOURIST ISSUED ON ARRIVAL (VOA)

In conjunction with the Presidential Decision No. 103/2003, signed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on 17th December 2003 regarding the new visa policy, from the 1st February 2004, the following visa policy is applied:

SHORT VISIT VISA TOURIST ISSUED ON ARRIVAL (VOA)

The following 52 nationality can apply for their tourist Visa On Arrival at certain Airports/Seaports in Indonesia for a maximum visit of 30 (thirty) days:

  5. AUSTRIA

  9. BRAZIL

  14. UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
  15. FINLAND

  18. INDIA
  19. UNITED KINGDOM
  20. IRAN
  21. IRELAND

  25. GERMAN

Cost for Visa-On Arrivals are US$10 for a stay of up to 3 days, US$25 for a stay of up to 30 days.


Entry Requirements For Visa On Arrival (VOA)
  1. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months as from the date of entry into Indonesia.
  2. Onward or return tickets are compulsory
  3. No compulsory vaccinations

The Visa purchasing system will take approximately 3-5 minutes per applicant. There are 6 payment counters, a bank and a money changer set up to process payments.

You are advised to change your money into US$ prior to arriving in Bali to pay for your visa on arrival.
